My 2 year old son and I love this book. We have at our local library and liked it so much that I decided that we should have our own copy. The story is not very complex, but it is the original and the illustrations are very well done and funny. I can not imagine why anyone would be offended by the drawings of dogs with nipples or testicles – not dogs, after all, in fact, the nipples and / or testicles. There is something very funny, where dogs pooping and peeing outdoors are presented. I suspect there are people who would be offended by that, but I think it is appropriate to the story and very funny. You are normal body functions and history can give you an opening to discuss it as such with your child. The simplicity of the story makes it perfect for toddlers and preschool set. The children would be probably not very interested, even if the pictures are entertaining for all ages.

I thought it was a swell book – delightful in all respects. The images are broken! Women Chess has character and personality of the Bull Terrier (these dogs are not, as a previous study has grabbed, called pit bulls!) In addition to the somewhat eccentric nature for those of us who possess!

This is a sweet, if somewhat mediocre, history, children have fun. It would be great for Leseanfänger there are seldom more than two or three sentences per page. The illustrations are both whimsical and earthy – whimsical account of the behavior of dogs and human qualities of the land because of blatant animal dogs.
